Preferred Lender List


The lenders listed below have demonstrated a high level of reliability and dedication in providing quality customer service to WSCC and its students, including but not limited to:
  • Timely and responsive processing with excellent problem-resolution service
  • Ability to provide technical assistance for lender processes and products used by the school
  • Knowledgeable customer service representatives
  • Toll-free number for information and advice
  • Loan and debt management assistance (deferment, forbearance, and other repayment options)
  • Loan consolidation services and options
You do not have to choose one of the lenders from the list. You may request your student loan from any lender who provides federal Stafford student loans. If you would like to use another lender, please provide the lender name and lender code.
The interest rate on both the subsidized and unsubsidized Federal Stafford loans is established annually by the federal government and is the same for all FFELP lenders. It is a variable rate and may change effective July 1 of each year. The rate will not exceed 8.25%. Lenders may vary in regard to origination fees and incentives.
