Loan Check Availability
Returning borrowers loan checks will begin being available on 9/8. Checks for 1st time loan borrowers (30 day hold) will begin 9/27. Second disbursement for fall only loans will begin on 10/25. ALWAYS check your StarNet account to ensure your loan has been processed and a check has been printed before standing in line.

Fin Aid Check Distribution Begins Sept. 8
Fall financial aid check distribution will begin on Sept. 8. in the College Center Bldg, Foundation Room , from 10:00-5:30 on 9/8 & 9/9. BEFORE standing in line, check your StarNet account to see if your check has been printed. After this date, checks will be available in the Business Office, M-F 8:30-4:00. Your attendance must be electronically reported (by your instructors) in all classes before a check will be released to you. Photo ID required.

Award Notices Available on StarNet
Beginning Fall 2010, the Financial Aid Office will not be mailing award letters to students. Students may view and print this information via their StarNet accounts.

Priority Deadline For FAFSA
WSCC's priority deadline for FAFSA for Fall 2010 is 6/30/2010. Be sure all requested information is submitted by this date to ensure time for processing. CHECK YOUR STARNET account for missing documents!!!!

New for 2010-2011!
Effective July 1, 2010 the Federal Family Ed. Loan Program will be eliminated. All future student loans will be certified through the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program. Please visit the Loan section of our website for more details.
