REPORTING SENIOR:
Executive Director of
Counseling and Testing
JOB OBJECTIVE:
To provide assistance with the administration and proctoring of tests
offered by or through the Counseling and Testing Center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the Testing Technician with
the administration of the GED test.
- Assist with the administration of
tests offered by and through the Counseling and Testing Center.
- Provide proctoring services in
support of the Regents On Line Degree program (RODP).
- Provide proctoring services in
support of student or faculty requests made through the Executive
Director of Counseling and Testing.
JOB STANDARDS:
- High School diploma or equivalent,
Associate degree, or experience working in a structured
environment.
- Ability to be discrete, sincere, and
perceptive in working with students.
- Knowledge and commitment to the
comprehensive community college concept.
JOB LOCATION:
The job location may include Walters State Community College’s
Morristown, Greene County, Sevier County, or Claiborne County
facilities.
EQUIPMENT:
Familiarity with computer usage and standard office equipment needed
but not required.
CRITICAL SKILLS/EXPERTISE:
Excellent communication skills needed to read test directions when
needed.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Marginal tasks performed include the moving and transporting of
supplies and light equipment items.
SALARY:
Negotiable, according to the salary guide of the college and
individual qualifications.
