Statement of Purpose:
The purpose of the Division of Business is to prepare individuals to
assume careers in business, industry, and government. Business
courses necessary to complete the first two years of a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business are offered for students who plan to transfer
to a university. This degree results in the Associate of Science
in Business.
Career programs are also offered in
Accounting,
Agriculture Business,
Business Administration,
Culinary Arts,
Hotel & Restaurant Management,
Paralegal Studies, and
Administrative Office Assistant.
These programs are designed to develop skills necessary to assume
paraprofessional positions in business and professional offices.
Individuals who wish to upgrade or enhance their business skills may
also choose from a variety of courses offered by the division.

Accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and
Programs, the division offers courses in the following academic
disciplines: accounting, business, culinary arts, economics, law,
management, hotel & restaurant management, marketing, office
administration and real estate. Our faculty and staff have strong
educational backgrounds and have had a variety of business experiences.

Schedules in the Division of Business
Hours:
The Division of Business has 2 computer labs in TECH 252 and TECH 254.
These labs are open to all business students between the hours of 8:00
a.m. & 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. The labs are also open on an
appointment basis between 6:00 & 9:00 on Monday - Thursday.
However, classes take priority over open lab times for
students. Please check the schedules posted on the lab doors
at the beginning of every semester to see when the labs are available.
The library also has computers available for student
use. Their hours are as follows:
8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday
