Registration for spring semester continues at Walters State Community College. The current registration period ends on Jan. 12 with fees for that period also due on Jan. 12. Late registration runs from Jan. 13 through Jan. 20 and carries a $25 late fee. Late-registration fees are due on Jan. 30.
Walters State offers more than 100 programs of study. The college offers two-year associate degrees that prepare students to transfer to four-year colleges or universities. Also available are associate of applied science degrees and technical certificates that prepare students for success in the workforce and in-demand jobs.
Classes are offered at campuses in Morristown, Greeneville, Sevierville and Tazewell and at some community locations, including Cherokee and Cocke County high schools. Many programs are offered online and others are offered through accelerated programs like College Express.
Returning students can register under MyWS, which has replaced StarNet. New students can visit www.ws.edu/admissions or contact call the admissions office at 423-585-6800.
