Auctioneering Classes Start in June

Walters State’s Center for Workforce Training is offering two popular auctioneering classes this summer. Classes will be at the Greeneville/Greene County Campus. 
The 30-hour auctioneering course will meet 6-10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 6-29. Advanced auctioneering is covered in an easy-to-understand format and includes ethical and professional operations of auctions. Upon completion of this course and passing of the gallery exam, students may submit an application for gallery license. The cost of this course is $399.
The 80-hour auctioneer course meets 6-10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 6-August 19. This class provides the fundaments required for students interested in becoming an apprentice auctioneer. Ethics and professionalism are emphasized. Upon completion of this course and passing the apprenticeship exam, students may submit an application for an apprentice license. The cost of this course is $599.
