Among These Hills
The WSCC High School Creative Writing Competition offers area high school students an opportunity to explore and improve their creative writing skills. The competition awards day culminates with the recognition of outstanding student writers and the presentation of awards to winning writers. Distinguished student entries are additionally published in the annual anthology Among These Hills. The competition, which began in 1989 and is sponsored by the English Department, has grown steadily over the years and has become one of our favorite springtime events.
