The Walters State web site is one of the most visible representations of the college and one of its most important recruitment tools. As such, each public Walters State web page is considered a college publication in that it contributes to the user's perception of the college. While each unit, department, club, or office has its own specific purpose and goals, it is also a part of Walters State as a whole and, therefore, needs to be clearly identified with the college brand.

Communications and Marketing is responsible for the content, design, navigation, and structure of the Walters State web site. Walters State web pages that are open to the general public are subject to approval by Communications and Marketing. Web updates or changes should be submitted via email to Sandra Paduch, Director of Website Design and Front-end Development, at Include in the request the corresponding URL(s). Please allow a two-week turnaround time for content change requests. More time may be required depending on the size and scope of the changes. The Director of Website Design and Front-end Development will monitor the web site for outdated information; however, it is the responsibility of individual departments and offices to ensure that the information on their pages is current.
