Didge Evolution to Make Virtual Stop

            Walters State Community College will host a virtual performance of Didge Evolution at 4 p.m. on March 18. The concert will be live streamed on all four campuses with limited seating. 

            The concert can also be viewed virtually at https://ws-edu.zoom.us/j/96849123731.

            Didgeridoo player and master multimedia producer Rob Thomas will take viewers to Australia and beyond. The didgeridoo has been played by Australia’s Aboriginal people for 1,500 years. This concert mixes funky didgeridoo rhythms, pumping beats, percussion instruments and soundscapes with both organic and electronic effects. Audience members are encouraged to stay after the concert and participate in a question-and-answer session.

            The concert will be livestreamed at these locations:

            • Niswonger Campus – TECH-260

            • Sevier County Campus – KOH-270

            • Claiborne County Campus – Rooms 75 and 80.
