Administrator Honored by TASSR
October 19, 2018

A state-wide organization has recognized a Walters State administrator for her dedication to students.
Connie Earls, director of retention services, was named Outstanding Staff Member in a Learning Support Program by the Tennessee Association for Student Success and Retention. The TASSR brings together faculty and administrators to achieve a common purpose: supporting students in their pursuit of educational goals.
The award was presented at TASSR’s fall conference. Earls and Teresa Smith, instructor of English, made a presentation, “Impacting Student Success Through Campus Collaboration,” at the conference.
