2020 Grads: Choose How to Be Part of Commencement
July 31, 2020

Class of 2020 – here’s how to be part of our virtual commencement ceremony. The process is easy, but you must complete it by 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Check your Senators mail for an email from StageClip. This should have arrived on Tuesday. Follow-up emails will be sent to those who haven’t responded. You can choose from several options:
•Put on your cap and gown and take a photo. Decorate your cap and hold it with pride or just send us your favorite selfie. It’s up to you!
•You can take a photo and add a cap-and-gown snapchat filter. The email has easy-to-follow instructions and you can even add some glitter.
•Add a message of up to 125 characters. You can thank you mom or your children. Have a personal motto like “go for it?” You can share that. Some students may want to share a favorite quote. Please keep it family friendly.
•Submit an eight-second video. Again, this is your video. You can add sound with your own voice or just send the video.
If you don’t want to do any of these, your name and degree will be shown.
Questions can be directed to student records at Please also contact this office if you did not receive an email from StageClip and have completed a degree in spring or summer semester.
Virtual Commencement is 7 p.m. on Aug. 15. The commencement can be viewed at or through the college’s YouTube page. The video will be available for at least several weeks after the first airing.
