Zackary Thurber’s “Him and I” received first place in the short fiction category. Tanner Keck’s “Hook Up or Head Out: The Sewer Situation in Bean Station” received first place in the research division. Thurber is from Knox County and Keck is from Grainger County.
These two works have been submitted for consideration by “Note Bene,’ the international PTK anthology.
Anna Adams received second place in creative nonfiction for “A Trip to the Gallery” and third place in short fiction. She is from Hawkins County.
John Marsolek received third place in short fiction for “Space Traveling Girl.” He lives in Greene County.
Dr. Lisa Eccles and Armini are advisors for the Walters State PTK Chapter.
