VIA Zoom Videoconferencing Platform
Parenting and Divorce Online, Sept. 2 or 16, 5:30-9:30 p.m., $60.
This class meets the court-mandated class requirement for divorcing couples. Learn how to co-parent, communicate and transition in a way that minimizes trauma for all involved.

Supervisor’s Toolkit September 7, 14 and 21, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., $499
This class will meet on Walters State’s Morristown and Niswonger campuses and via zoom. This class provides a valuable foundation for leading today’s employees. Topics covered are leading people through motivation while reducing turnover and enhancing productivity. The class also offers insights into the differences among employees with a concentration on three issues of special relevance: diversity, four generations at work, and employees with disabilities. This class also includes sections on leader effectiveness, optimizing contributions and personal and interpersonal effectiveness. The final lesson offers techniques for eliminating conflict in the workplace with special emphasis on harassment and violence.

SHRM CP/SCP Certification Preparation September 13 – December 6 
5:30 – 8:30 pm, $1,595.
This course is offered virtually at Walters State’s campuses in Morristown, Greeneville and Sevierville. 
The SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preparation course is designed for individuals seeking credentials that focus on identifying and testing the knowledge and practical real-life experiences human resource professional around the world need to excel in their careers today. This certification preparation program covers four knowledge domains: people, organization, workplace, and strategy. Eight behavioral concepts are also covered: leadership and navigation, ethical practice, business acumen, relationship management, consultation, critical evaluation, global & cultural effectiveness, and communication.
