Wade McCameyWelcome to Walters State, the Great Smoky Mountains Community College. I'm Wade McCamey, president of this comprehensive community college which serves ten predominantly rural East Tennessee counties in the mountains and foothills of the Great Smokies and Clinch Mountains. On behalf of our governing board, the Tennessee Board of Regents, our faculty and staff, and our approximately 6,600 degree seeking students, I invite you not only to browse through the information provided at this Web site but also to visit us on one of our four principal campuses in Hamblen, Sevier, Greene, and Claiborne counties.
