(WSCC) 2 + (ETSU) 2 Program

Upon completion of the Associate of Science in Elementary Education or the Associate of Science in Teaching, students may continue their program of study with ETSU at WSCC. ETSU will provide faculty for the completion of the Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (K-5).

Information for K-5 Licensure Students

Students interested in the 2+2 program should be pursuing K-5 teaching licensure and:

  • Eligible to complete the last two years of the program as an ETSU student taking classes on a WSCC campus.
  • Approved as eligible for the program by:
    1. Visiting ETSU Admissions
    2. Contacting an ETSU advisor to self-identify as being interested in the cohort. Schedule an appointment in WSCC Student Success Advising Center (SSB-U100, 423-318-2337).
  • Complete a review of transcript by an ETSU advisor.
  • Be able to attend full time, taking classes during the day and evening. Class days and times vary from semester to semester.
  • Take courses as outlined in a program course sequence guide. This guide will be given to students at initial advising meetings.
