Walters State Community College Foundation
The Walters State Community College Foundation is an institutionally related, independently chartered, separate legal entity operated as a tax-exempt corporation chartered within the state of Tennessee. It is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) foundation created to promote and support the literary, scientific, educational scholarship, research, charitable and developmental purposes, and objectives of Walters State Community College. The foundation is the official fundraising arm of the college and is governed by a board of trustees.
Proposal for Acceptance of Gifts
Alumni
Membership in the Walters State National Alumni Association is open to all former students of Walters State who hold a degree or certificate or have obtained 30 hours of college credit at Walters State. Visit our Alumni section to learn more.
Foundation Funds
For Current Walters State Employees
The Foundation seeks to promote and support the literary, scientific, educational scholarship, research, charitable and developmental purposes and objectives of Walters State Community College. If a Walters State employee desires to ask for financial assistance that matches the above criteria, he/she must complete the Request for Foundation Funds. Financial assistance requests from the Foundation can only be submitted by current Walters State employees.
