Newport Center

Located in Newport, TN

The WSCC Newport Center serves as an extension of the main campus in Morristown offering both credit and non-credit courses to the citizens of Cocke County, and the college’s ten-county service area of upper East Tennessee. The campus allows students who are geographically remote from the main campus to take classes closer to their homes. The college’s general education core classes are available at this campus along with limited courses within certain programs.

Approximately 275 students are served by the WSCC Newport Center, which is equipped with four classrooms, two study areas, student engagement room, offices, and conference room space. There are outdoor student spaces for student activities and study. Meeting space is available for community events Monday through Friday when classes are not in session.

The Newport Center is located in the Historic Tanner School Building at 115 Mulberry St., Newport. For information, call 423-532.1001.
