Placement Services at Walters State provides quality employment opportunities for students and graduates.

Placement Services serves as a liaison between employers and students/graduates seeking full-time and part-time, skilled and unskilled, employment opportunities.

The office provides personal counseling to:

  1. assist with the development of personal marketing plans to obtain employment
  2. understand the do's and don'ts of job hunting in today's market
  3. critique resumes
  4. aid in interviewing skills

Placement Services enhances the chance of success in the new job market.

 

Focus 2 Career Exploration Tool

FOCUS 2 is a self-paced career and education planning tool for Walters State students. This resource helps you make decisions about future career goals and education plans. FOCUS 2 provides self-assessments to help you identify your top work interests, values, skills, personality type and leisure time interests. In addition, FOCUS 2 helps you explore occupations and major areas of study compatible with your personal and career goals.
