The R. Jack Fishman Library provides physical and digital information resources to meet the teaching and learning needs of students, faculty, staff, and community members at all campus and online locations; develops a collection of physical and digital resources that supports the College’s diverse curriculum; teaches information literacy skills to enhance student learning outcomes at Walters State Community College.
Equipment Checkout
The R. Jack Fishman Library offers a variety of equipment to check out to support your success as a student. Whether you need a laptop for class or a calculator for a math course, we've got you covered.
Fall 2026 equipment can be reserved online starting on August 17th. You can pick up laptops and calculators beginning August 24th (not earlier). We will hold reservations for the first two weeks of your reservation. You may checkout equipment throughout the semester. The equipment is due by the last day of the semester.
R. Jack Fishman Library hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00a.m. - 5:30p.m. and Friday 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m.
Tutoring
The Tutoring Office is now conveniently located inside the library. We provide free in-person and virtual/online tutoring to all students across all four campuses.
Whether you need help overcoming academic barriers, boosting your grades, preparing for exams, or building better study habits, we're here to help you succeed.
