Dates and Deadlines for Financial Aid
Please see the current timetable of classes for fee payments, census, check release, and other dates.
Appeals must be received by the 14th day of each semester in order to be applied to
the current semester.

- TSAA State Grant - Deadline for FAFSA to be completed and received. Funds available based on state
funding eligibility.
February 1
March 1
- Tennessee Reconnect - Deadline to complete application for spring semester AND FAFSA
to be completed and received.
March 31
April 1
- TN Promise Community Service Deadline for summer semester. Complete and report 8 hours of community service to maintain eligibility for Option

- Tennessee Reconnect - Deadline to complete application for summer semester AND FAFSA
to be completed and received.
June 30
July 1
- TN Promise Community Service Deadline for fall semester. Complete and report 8 or 16 hours of community service to maintain eligibility. See

- Federal Work-Study application available for upcoming academic year.
August 1
- TN Promise application becomes available for high school seniors.
September 1
October 1
- FAFSA becomes available for next academic year.
- TN Reconnect application becomes available for next academic year.
October 31
November 1
- Deadline to complete TN Promise application for incoming high school seniors.
December 1
- TN Promise Community Service Deadline for spring semester. Complete and report 8 hours of community service to maintain eligibility for Option
