Our Theatre Arts major offers a deep dive into the world of performance and production, preparing you for a dynamic career in theatre. Theatre provides opportunities for involvement in public performance, stagecraft, set building, and acting. Theatre students are often featured in on-campus performances, even during their freshman year. You'll learn about theatre in the classroom and see how it actually works behind the scenes through a stagecraft class. This degree is designed for students who want to transfer and complete a bachelor's degree. Your credits will transfer seamlessly through articulation agreements and the Tennessee Transfer Pathway. In addition to a theatre concentration, this degree provides a solid foundation in general studies matching the first two years at most four-year colleges and universities.
