COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic: Cancelled

April 13, 2021

The April 17 Johnson & Johnson vaccine clinic planned by Walters State Community College and Crescent Center Drugs has been cancelled due to the concerns raised by the Centers for Disease Control.

The college had partnered with the pharmacy to offer free vaccines in a six-hour clinic at the Walters State Great Smoky Mountains Expo Center.

Ryan Kragel, pharmacist and owner of Crescent Center Drugs, said the pharmacy is no longer administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The pharmacy will continue to provide Moderna vaccines as they become available.
