The R. Jack Fishman Library provides physical and digital information resources to meet the teaching and learning needs of students, faculty, staff, and community members at all campus and online locations; develops a collection of physical and digital resources that supports the College’s diverse curriculum; teaches information literacy skills to enhance student learning outcomes at Walters State Community College.
The R. Jack Fishman Library offers a variety of equipment to check out to support your success as a student. Whether you need a laptop for class, a Verizon MiFi for internet access, or a calculator for a math course, we've got you covered. Click the campus location links to find out more!
Summer semester library computers and calculators can be reserved online starting on Monday, May 5th. Students can pick up laptops and calculators beginning Monday, May 12th (not earlier). We will hold reservations for the first two weeks of classes. All equipment will be due Thursday, August 7th.
Due to a limited quantity, MiFis are available for weekly check out each Wednesday with a return date of the following Monday. Students can check out a MiFi at the Morristown circulation desk on a first come, first served basis beginning May 14th. While MiFis are available to everyone, we ask students with internet access to use their own internet provider.
Equipment pick-up hours are between Monday-Thursday 8:00a.m.-5:30p.m. and Friday 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m..
