November Noncredit Classes Include Excel Level 2, Parenting and Divorce

Online Courses
• Parenting and Divorce, the court-ordered class for divorcing parents, is offered twice, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Nov. 7 and Nov. 28. The cost is $60. The class is offered via the Zoom videoconferencing software. Skills learned in this class will make the transition healthier and less traumatic, especially for children. Participants receive a certificate of completion.
• Microsoft Excel Level 2 will be offered from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Nov. 28. The cost is $150. This course builds on the skills and concepts taught in the Excel Level 1. Students will learn how to use multiple worksheets and workbooks efficiently and begin working with advanced formatting options to manage workbooks, functions, formulas, data ranges and to analyze data. 

 Greeneville Courses
• Welding Level 2 – MIG Welding will be offered from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesdays, Nov. 7-Dec. 5 at the Walters State Advanced Manufacturing Building. The cost is $279. This course will introduce students to the Gas Metal Arc Welding Process, commonly referred to as MIG welding. This is a self-paced class with an emphasis on focus and safety. This class covers basic concepts of spray welding, industry standard methods, equipment setup, joints and weld positions and out-of-position welds.
