NISWONGER CAMPUS
Introduction to Robotics Operation and Programming will be offered from 7:45-9:10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Aug 12-Dec. 9. Featuring hands-on training, the course provides a basic understanding of robot operations and programming, material handling and components. The class also includes preventative maintenance and troubleshooting sections. Teachings align to the FANUC Certified Robot Operator National Certification offered through NOCTI. This level focuses on the core robot operator skills needed by employers as entry-level or current workers. The cost is $695.

GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS EXPO CENTER
Welding Level 1 (Stick Welding) meets from 4-8 p.m. Aug. 19-Sept. 16 on Tuesdays. This course introduces shop practices, equipment, materials and skills related to the Shielded Metal Arc Welding process. This is one of the most widely used welding types and is common in the construction maintenance and repair industries. This course places an emphasis on understanding process variables and develop basic skills. All hands-on exercises are self-paced. This class may also be used to improve existing skills. The cost is $379.

MULTIPLE CAMPUSES
Microsoft Excel Level 2 will be held on Aug. 19 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on the Morristown and Niswonger Campuses and the Newport Center. This class builds on the skills taught in Level 1 and covers using multiple worksheets and workbooks and managing workbooks. The class also works with advanced formatting options including functions formulas, data ranges, and analyzing data. The cost is $150.
