ONLINE COURSES
Auctioneering 50-Hour (Apprenticeship) will be offered online Feb. 3-March 17, 6-10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students learn the basics of auctioneering in an easy-to-understand format that meets the Tennessee educational licensing requirements. The course provides the auctioneering fundamentals with ethics and professionalism strongly emphasized. Upon completion of this course and passing of the apprenticeship exam, students must apply for an apprentice license, sending payment and certificate of completion to the Tennessee Auctioneer Commission for issuance of an apprentice license. The class uses the Zoom videoconferencing platform. The cost is $634.
NISWONGER CAMPUS
Supervisor 101 will be held 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Feb. 18 and 24. This comprehensive two-day workshop is focused on a supervisor’s essential areas of responsibility. Students learn how to promote communication, guide work and projects, lead the workforce, coach employee performance and develop as a new supervisor or a supervisor in a new company. This workshop will make the move from worker to supervisor a smooth one. The cost is $399.
MORRISTOWN CAMPUS
Microsoft Excel Level 1 meets on Feb. 17 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Gain a solid foundation in this popular Microsoft Office product. This class covers creating, saving and printing documents. Students will learn how to create formulas, enter functions, copy and paste, and work with page layout features and handy shortcuts. The class will also look at major differences between Microsoft Excel 2016 and previous editions. The cost is $150.
Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 12 and 19. on the Zoom videoconferencing platform. Students will gain hands-on experience utilizing Esri software. Sessions will cover software basics, as well as managing and visualizing spatial data. This class uses the Zoom videoconferencing platform. The cost is $199.
