Join others in an exciting career by becoming a Registered Dental Assistant. The course is 120 hours and takes 5 ½ months to complete. A registered dental assistant may perform procedures for which they have been adequately trained and which a lawfully licensed and duly registered dentist delegates to them. The primary responsibilities of a Registered Dental Assistant include, but not limited to, patient preparation, sterilization of instruments, operatory care, instrument exchange, preparation of materials, radiography, and patient education. Those completing training are well prepared for assisting a dentist during all chair side procedures.
