To be eligible for acceptance into the Pharmacy Technician program, the applicant must complete the following steps:
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed upon receipt. Qualified applicants are admitted until the class has been filled.
The program covers three semesters, the first two semesters are classes and labs, and the final semester is clinical pharmacy experience and seminar. Classes and labs are offered in the daytime over 2 to 3 days per week on the Morristown campus.

While in the program, students must comply with the college's policies and successfully meet program curriculum requirements.
The criminal background check and drug screening (at the student's expense), will be required to finalize your application. The checks may be used to make legally compliant and appropriate decisions regarding continuation in the program.
Graduates are strongly encouraged to take the national certification examination given by PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) upon completion of the program. Visit www.ptcb.org for more information.
For future employment in pharmacy practice, graduates must be registered with Tennessee Board of Pharmacy (BOP). Information regarding BOP application requirements can be found here.
