Steps for Admission: New and Returning Students

 

New Student
Brand new student with no prior attendance.

Returning Student
Previously attended with lapse of enrollment.
 

Step 1: Apply to Walters State

In addition to the steps all students must follow for admittance into the Dual Enrollment Program, new and returning students must first apply to Walters State.

Step 2: Complete Dual Enrollment Permission Form

The Dual Enrollment Application process requires the completion of the Dual Enrollment Permission Form

All Dual Enrollment Students must Complete the Enrollment Permission Form for Dual Enrollment.

Step 3: Complete The Dual Enrollment Grant Application

The Dual Enrollment Application process requires the completion of The Dual Enrollment Grant Application. The Dual Enrollment Grant program is funded by the Tennessee Lottery and administered by the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation. This program provides opportunities for students to begin working toward a college degree, while still pursuing a high school diploma, and encourages post-secondary education and the acceleration of post-secondary attainment.
