Empty Bowls Event
Buy a unique, practical and amazingly affordable piece of art at the Art Club’s Empty
Bowls sale from 10 a.m.-noon on April 20. The event will be held in the lobby of the
Judge William H. Inman Humanities Building on the Morristown Campus.
Bowls are available for $15, with all proceeds benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank.
Second Harvest estimates that one in five people in East Tennessee, one in four children,
are at risk of going hungry.
The agency can provide three meals at the cost of $1, meaning that each bowl purchased
at the event will yield 45 meals.
