 Printmaking Exhibit Now On Display
The work of artist Sage Perrott
The work of artist Sage Perrott is featured through March 31 at Walters State’s Catron Art Gallery. The Gallery is located in the R. Jack Fishman Library on the Morristown Campus.

Perrott will deliver a gallery talk at 11 a.m. on Feb. 8. Both the exhibition and the talk are open to the public with no admission fee.

The artist, who also goes by Haypeep, is known for her printmaking talents. Her work often features grumpy, lumpy, ghost-like creatures. This exhibit features work done at different times during the past decade.

“As a printmaker, I have produced dozens of editions, hundreds of prints and printed objects,” Perrot said. “The majority of these prints live quietly in a flat file drawer, for the duration of their ‘life,’ being shown once or a few times, before returning to the drawer. This exhibition is a moment for these prints to be seen again.”

This exhibit includes prints, printed objects and printed zines.
Perrot is a West Virginia native who now lives in Johnson City. She earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from West Virginia University and a master of fine arts degree from Ohio University.

The Catron Art Gallery is open when the R. Jack Fishman Library is open, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
