Walters State Community College works hard to offer a diverse array of special events throughout the year.

Mildred Haun Conference - A Celebration of Appalachian Literature, Scholarship, and Culture is an attempt to explore and define Appalachian literature and culture for ourselves and for the outside world.
TN Statewide Dual Enrollment Conference - The Tennessee Statewide Dual Enrollment Conference will showcase best practices and innovative ideas for dual enrollment in both the K12 and higher education landscapes.
East Tennessee Literacy Conference - The East Tennessee Literacy Conference features breakout sessions and networking opportunities for teachers at all levels and for administrators. Those attending will receive 6 hours of TASL credit or 6.0 PDP certification.
