Murgolos to Perform Sept. 19
The Murgolo Family will perform at Walters State Community College at 7 p.m. on Thursday,
Sept. 19 in the theatre of the Judge William H. Inman Humanities Complex on the Morristown
Campus. This concert is free.
Douglas and Emily Murgolo met while performing in a Walters State theatre production
15 years ago. Since then, they have been married and active in East Tennessee’s music
scene. The pair perform occasionally perform at their church, the Morristown Seventh-day
Adventist Church.
The Murgolos write most of their music.
“This is a special celebration of a musical group and their music, which all started
in the Walters State theatre,” said Jack Truman, instructor of theatre at the college.
