Workforce Training Offers Certified Supervisor Course

Walters State’s Division of Workforce Training will offer the Certified Supervisor course from 1-5 p.m. on Tuesdays from Sept. 30-Dec. 16. The class is a hybrid class, meeting both on the Morristown Campus and on the Zoom videoconferencing platform. 

Designed for both new and experienced supervisors who want to work efficiently and effectively, this course covers all aspects of management. Key focus areas include planning and setting objectives, leadership and motivation, organization and control, quality control, problem solving, quality control, and ethical decision making. Managing teams or groups, training and appraising performance, customer service, communications and finance are also studies.
