Writers Honored by Tennessee Mosaic
Four Walters State writers were honored for excellence in “Tennessee Mosaic,” a statewide anthology published by Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for community college students. Four Receive Awards

      Four Walters State students received honors for writing published in “Tennessee Mosaic.” This statewide anthology is published by Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for community College Students.
      Ava Kelly, a hospitality business major from Newport, received first place for poetry. Abigail Weaver, a pre-clinical laboratory science major from Seymour, placed third in poetry.
      Macy Greenlee, a general studies major from Mohawk, placed second in short fiction. Keegan Grills, an information systems major from Rogersville, received an honorable mention for short fiction.
      The anthology is published annually.
