Complainants not satisfied with the outcome of Walters State’s internal process may appeal to the Tennessee Higher Education Commission within two years of the time when the incident occurred. For purposes of this process, a complaint is defined as a formal assertion in writing that the laws, standards or regulations incorporated in the NC SARA Policies and Standards have been violated by Walters State Community College.
