Students can take four of the following classes: pottery, 3D animation, web design, crime scene investigation and biology/chemistry. Camps are designed for students in grades three through five and grades six through eight.
Drop-off time is 8:30 a.m. with pick-up time at 3 p.m.
“Our goal is to provide an entertaining and challenging summer experience through Kids College and the STEAM Experience,” Dr. Nicole Cardwell-Hampton, coordinator of youth programs for the Division of Workforce Development at Walters State, said.
“Participants also have the chance to spend time on a college campus and work with college professors and students. Many students leave Kids College with the goal of a college education planted for their futures,” Cardwell-Hampton said.
Online registration is available at https://ws.edu/kidscollege. For more information, contact Cardwell-Hampton at Nicole.Cardwell-Hampton@ws.edu or 423-585-6756.
