Two Walters State students have been named to the All Tennessee Academic Team.
Katie Kinder, a hospitality business major from Morristown, and Danielle Ford, a social
work major from Manchester, were presented with medals noting their accomplishment
during the SOAR (Statewide Outstanding Achievement Recognition) Luncheon held in Nashville
and sponsored by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
The All Tennessee Academic Team is sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa, the international
honor society for community college students. Only 26 Tennessee students received
this honor.
