Walters State Student Art Exhibit Opens April 15
The Catron Art Gallery, located on Walters State’s Morristown Campus, will host its
annual student art show April 15-29. The Gallery is located inside the R. Jack Fishman
Library. Admission is free.
This exhibit showcases artwork created by students enrolled in the foundations and
studio courses within the visual arts and digital media programs.
“This is my 19th year installing the student art show and the range of talent and
creativity never ceases to amaze me,” said Amy Evans, professor and head of the art
department. “There are so many gifted students who are interested in the arts, and
it is energizing to see what these young artists are able to imagine and bring to
fruition.”
The Catron Art Gallery is open during normal library hours, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Admission is free.
