Excess Aid

Excess Aid

If the amount of student aid exceeds the amount owed for tuition and fees, students will receive the residual amount in the form of a check or direct deposit.

Excess Aid Disbursement

Each term, the WSCC Cashier's Office will post a notice indicating the date distribution will begin.

A provision for books and supplies will be made available to the students who have met all financial aid eligibility requirements and have a credit balance on the student account at least 10 days prior to the start of the term.

The remaining balance of aid will be distributed to a student within 14 days of the date it was disbursed to the student account.

Initial attendance/engagement is required and must be confirmed prior to the remaining balance of aid being released.

Students whose aid is not completed during the initial distribution will have their balance of aid amount distributed to them in the next available transfer cycle.
